Shirlene Joines joined our practice in August 2021.  Dr. Joines completed her doctorate of nurse practitioner at Western Kentucky University in 2019.  Before obtaining her nurse practitioner license she worked at OHRH for 25 years as an RN in cardiac step down, general surgery and open heart recovery. After graduating as an NP she worked for the Hospitalist group.

Shirlene is a member of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She lives in Owensboro.
