Meet our providers

Alicia Williams graduated in 2021 from the University of Southern Indiana with her Masters in Nursing (MSN) and Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) degree.  She obtained her nursing degree from Owensboro Community College (2011) and her bachelors from Indiana Wesleyan University (2014).  Prior to pursing her MSN/AGACNP degrees, Alicia worked in general surgery at Owensboro Medical Health System and multiple hospitals in the San Diego, CA area as a traveling nurse.  Upon returning to the Tri-state area she worked as a medical telemetry RN at Deaconess Gateway before becoming an inpatient nurse practitioner with Deaconess Heart Group. 

Alicia's professional interest include promoting quality of life in patient with heart failure, practicing preventative cardiology, and developing individualized treatment plans for her patients.  Improving cardiovascular health for the community in Owensboro, KY is important to Alicia as both a professional and a neighbor.  She is a member of American College of Cardiology, American Nurse Association, the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. 

Alicia and her husband, Brian, have two small children - Levi and Liliana, who are the light of their lives.  When Alicia isn't working, she enjoys spending time with family, hiking, camping, and being outdoors.
