THE PRACTICE

Dr. Roshan Mathew is a board certified cardiologist who is dedicated to providing the highest quality clinical, diagnostic, and interventional cardiac and vascular services to patients in Owensboro and surrounding counties in Kentucky.  

​

He has served this community since 2005 and has built a reputation for providing excellent and compassionate cardiac care.  He started out in private practice with Green River Heart Institute and joined the hospital in 2010.  He served as Director for the Cardiac Cath Lab and later was the Executive Director of the Heart and Vascular Institute where he consolidated the service line and expanded the service line through market expansion and recruitment.

He continues to serve this community as Vice Chief of the Department of Cardiology at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and serves on numerous local and national committees/forums by providing his vast expertise.  He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Kentucky.  He has published on Mitral Valvular Disorders and has participated extensively in research.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
